Join us on July 27th for the second instalment of the Cardus Summer Series. Our topic will be – “MAiD in Canada – How we got here and where we’re going”

This installation will be a primer on the current state of affairs when it comes to assisted suicide/euthanasia (MAiD) provision in Canada. Drawing on their experiences, our panelists will provide a sober assessment of the origins of this policy and its expansion.

We will also be sharing Cardus Health’s hopeful vision for the future – a vision of a social system that supports the desire for a natural death, equips social institutions to support patients and caregivers, and develops a continuum of care for those approaching the end of life.
