
Al Etmanski (http://www.aletmanski.com) is a collaborator and change agent who has spent a significant part of his life tackling challenging social and policy issues. He is a partner in the J W McConnell Family Foundation’s, Social Innovation Generation (SIG), an Ashoka Canada fellow, a VanCity Community Investment Fellow, and a faculty member of John McKnight’s Asset Based Community Development Institute (ABCD). He is also a Co-Chair of the BC Government’s Advisory Council on Social Entrepreneurship and is a co-founder of Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network (PLAN). In addition, he proposed and led the successful campaign to establish the world’s first Registered Disability Savings Plan.
