This is a very candid view of Hamilton from someone who has very much been part of the complex and varied texture of Hamilton city life. Herman Turkstra has seen many iterations of plans, ideas, projects, and the various political machinations that accompany these intricate dimensions of city-building. He thinks that some of it works, some of it is broken, and that there is a substantial bit in between that is very mixed in nature. If you invest your time thinking about cities or about Hamilton in particular, you’ll find plentiful edges into which you can weave your own thoughts and opinions.
