Brian Harskamp

Brian Harskamp is the Director of Development with Cardus, spending most of his days working with the men, women and businesses that help the organization exist. Brian has worked in a variety of sectors, ranging from automotive to agricultural, before filling his role with Cardus in 2004.

Brian has a Master of Business Administration from McMaster, specializing in corporate reputation, communications, and public relations. At McMaster, he served as the Part-Time Student Rep for the MBA Association in 2006 and 2007, has lent his talents to the High School Business Heroes program, and led a session on resume building for the Synergy Summer Business Camp for two summers. In addition to his work with McMaster, he has assisted with Redeemer University's co-op program, providing resume training for students and serves on the Alumni Board.

Brian is also active in the Hamilton community. In addition to involvement in federal, provincial and municipal politics in his free time, he served as the 2007/2008 membership director for the Hamilton "A.M" Rotary Club, recipient of one of the largest grants in the Rotary Foundation's history. He is currently serving as Second Vice President with the Canadian Club of Hamilton, the charter club in the association. Outside of Ontario, Brian is serving as an advisory board member of the Corpath Venture Group.

He lives in Hamilton (ON) and spends his leisure time cycling, cooking, gardening, and playing Ultimate.
