Denise Frame Harlan

Denise Frame Harlan spent a third of her adult life living in college dorms as a residence director: several of her former students are now her closest friends, but only after she "gave up" on them years ago.

Though she hails from Farmland, Indiana, Denise currently writes from her bay window overlooking Gloucester Harbor in Massachusetts. Her stories are featured in Catapult's Road Map series, Interweave Spin-Off magazine, Living Crafts, Lost Magazine online. She's a mother of two children and in her spare time she obsesses over wool, yarn, knitting and fiber crafts. Denise completed an MFA in Creative Writing from Seattle Pacific University in August 2009.
