Convivium—Canada's new project promoting faith in our common life—is pleased to welcome the Archbishop of Bombay, Cardinal Oswald Gracias, for a dinner and lecture March 19th, 2012 near Toronto.

Cardinal Oswald Gracias was appointed Archbishop of Bombay by Pope Benedict XVI on 14 October 2006, and was raised to the cardinalate in 2007. In 2010, he was elected as the president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India.

The Hon. Jason Kenney, P.C., M.P., will be present to formally welcome Cardinal Gracias. Cardinal Gracias' keynote is called "The Church in India Rising."

Hosting the event is Fr. Raymond de Souza, National Post columnist and editor of Convivium. Cardus is pleased to bring together the Catholic community of the Greater Toronto Area for this time of fellowship and sharing of common life.
