Cardus Faith Communities

Cardus Faith Communities conducts research and promotes understanding of Canadians’ freedom of religion and conscience, the place of religion in the public square, and the ways in which faith congregations are active contributors to our common life. We engage regularly with Canadian faith leaders to learn from their experiences and to foster authentic dialogue on the relationship between the secular and the religious.

We also partner with the Angus Reid Institute to conduct public opinion research on faith-motivated activities and organizations. We then bring this research into conversation about Canadian public life, demonstrating that faith and religion are an integral part of Canadian society.
