Memo: Importance of the Privately Sponsored Refugee Program for Improved Integration and Outcomes
Privately sponsored refugees have been shown to have strong outcomes in integrating into Canada economically and socially. Cardus is recommending that the recent trend downwards in the relative proportion of privately sponsored refugees compared to government assisted refugees in the most recent immigration levels plan be reversed.
