The Paideia Centre, Redeemer University College and Cardus are pleased to host internationally known economist Dr. Bob Goudzwaard on Wednesday, February 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at Redeemer University College. The topic of his lecture will be, “Hope in Troubled Times: A New Vision for the Global Economy.”

Dr. Goudzwaard, a former member of the Dutch Parliament, is Professor Emeritus of Economics and Social Philosophy at the Free University of Amsterdam. Both within and outside of his extensive political career, Goudzwaard has been deeply involved in international development issues. Recently he chaired a two-year consultation between the World Council of Churches, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. His latest book is co-authored with Mark Vander Vennen, and David Van Heemst, Hope in Troubled Times: A New Vision for Confronting Global Crises and is receiving excellent reviews.
