Does Canada really need another law school? Janet Epp Buckingham, executive director of Trinity Western University's Laurentian Leadership Centre, believes it does—if the students graduating from it are steeped in the deep Biblical traditions of our law.
Epp Buckingham, a Cardus senior fellow, is spearheading a campaign to open a law school at TWU in B.C.'s Fraser Valley by 2015. As she explained to Peter Stockland recently, providing Canada with a new generation of Christian lawyers is only one prospective benefit of the new school. It will also open the doors to an entirely different way of practising the law.
