Registration is now open for the Glen Workshop, July 26-August 2 in Santa Fe, NM. The Glen Workshop, presented by Image Journal, Christians in the Visual Arts, and Christians in the Theater Arts, combines elements of a workshop, an arts festival, and a conference, with workshops in songwriting, fiction, poetry, visual art, spiritual writing, and more, led by outstanding presenters such as Over the Rhine, B.H. Fairchild, Valerie Sayers, Barry Moser and Lauren Winner. A seminar option is also available, taught by Comment friend Andy Crouch. For more details and registration information, visit imagejournal.org/page/events/the-glen-workshop.

. . . On January 30, Lori Halstead Windham of the Becket Fund for Religious Freedom will present Religious Freedom: Public Faiths, Public Goods, the keynote for the first Dignity Conference. "It is said that a sense of the dignity of the human person has been impressing itself more and more deeply on the consciousness of contemporary society? But what does that mean?" Presented by the Laurentian Leadership Centre and the Christian Labour Association of Canada, the public lecture will take place in Room 209 of the West Block on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, at 8:00 pm. Register: triscilla.harwood@twu.ca or 613.569.7511 x5020.

. . . ENGAGE: The Journal of Youth Culture from the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding is now online at issuu.com.

. . . And finally, Comment recommends the new-look Christian Courier. CC is a distinctively Christian and Reformed paper, served up twice a month, and now on Facebook. With Cardus friends Brett Alan Dewing and Angela Bick Reitsma now at the editorial helm after the passing of Harry der Nederlanden, CC is poised to reestablish itself as the premier Canadian paper interacting with world events from a Reformed Christian perspective. As the paper seeks to expand its readership to younger and more diverse audiences, expect a subtle shift to a more relevant Christian Courier.
