John Wood Jr.
John Randolph Wood Jr. is a writer, public intellectual, community advocate, and former nominee for congress from Los Angeles, California, whose work has focused on creating dialogue and understanding between polarized communities. He is a noted public speaker, having appeared at events as wide-ranging as CPAC 2019 and the Global Philanthropy Forum; he has been published in Quillette, Real Clear Policy, and Reflections (a journal of the Yale Divinity School), and is a national spokesperson for Better Angels. By hobby John is also a singer, trumpet player, and rapper.
