Erin Goheen Glanville is an independent scholar with a Ph.D. in English and Cultural Studies. Her thesis, "Storied Displacement, Storied Faith," explores fictional narratives of displacement as pedagogical tools for church-based refugee activism. Most recently she coedited a volume Countering Displacements: The Creativity and Resilience of Indigenous and Refugee-ed People, published by University of Alberta Press. Erin's family (partner Mark, daughter Mahla) straddles two continents, most recently relocating to Vancouver, Canada from Sydney, Australia.
