Amy Ruis owns two retail shops, Art of the Table and Aperitivo (retail shop & wine/cheese/charcuterie bar) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has completed the Level I Sommelier Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. As a Calvin College graduate from the Elementary Education program, Amy loves to educate others on food & beverage. Amy loves to participate in her local community through board work and neighborhood involvement. If there’s any time left after running the shops, she loves to travel, read, cook & entertain. She lives in a 110 year old house with her husband, Steve, and her dog Fergus and has somewhere in the ballpark of 10 amazing nieces and nephews.
