Andrew Selee is the executive vice president at the Wilson Center in Washington DC.

On his way to writing”What Should Think Tanks Do” Andrew Selee has worked as a staffer at the U.S. Congress and in community development programs with the YMCA of California. He has written op-eds for many prominent papers including the Wall Street Journal, teaches at Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University, and continues to develop policy and research projects designed to enhance cross border relations between Mexico and the United States. As the executive vice president at the Wilson Center, he is uniquely positioned to ask questions about what makes think tanks effective and to explain strategies that will be useful to anyone involved in trying to change contemporary culture.
