Clay Enoch was born and raised in Tennessee, where he participated in the Governor's school for the Fine Arts before earning his BFA from Wheaton College in Illinois. He has been self-employed and living as a sculptor in Colorado Springs since 1996.
Recently, he had the privilege of creating "Let's Roll", a life-size memorial relief for Wheaton's new Todd M. Beamer Student Center. Responding artistically to this September 11th hero was uniquely rewarding, and the dedication ceremony was a distinct professional honour. Currently, he is working on another life-size, multi-figure wall relief for his high school alma mater in Memphis, entitled "Those Who Run".
Other monumental sculpture can be seen in Greeley and Colorado Springs and in Memphis. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Denver, Littleton, Loveland, Taos, Nashville and Atlanta, and shown in Weaton, Scottsdale, Jackson (MS) and Memphis.
