Chris Schoon

Rev. Chris Schoon, M.Div., Th.M., currently serves as Senior Pastor of First Hamilton CRC, an urban church rooted in the Durand and Kirkendall neighborhoods. Schoon is also a doctoral candidate (Th.D.) at Wycliffe College (Toronto School of Theology) with a focus on the relationship between worship, discipleship, and evangelism in the missional church movement. He occasionally teaches mission related courses at Redeemer University College and has previously served as an outreach pastor in Grand Rapids, MI. He presently lives on the south side of Hamilton with his wife, their four kids, and 10 pets.
