Dr. Ellen Davis is currently the Amos Ragan Kearns Distinguished Professor of Bible and Practical Theology at Duke University Divinity School.  Author of several books, including Scripture, Culture, Agriculture, an Agrarian Reading of the Bible, and numerous articles, Ellen Davis’s work has focused on the role that biblical interpretation plays in the lives of faith communities as they respond to public issues, such as the current environmental crisis.
