Jay Walker

Jay Walker turns the familiar to iconic in his paintings, drawings, and sculptures through a form of conceptual realism. He removes traditional contexts, isolating figures and clothing, and elevates them to an archetypal existence. His work offers the question—What is the spirit of man?

Jay received his MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He will be having a solo exhibit featuring his sculptures at the Abington Art Center in Jenkintown, PA opening April 25th.
