Preston Manning is one of Canada’s most celebrated statesmen. He has worked for democratic and political reform in Canada for many years. Manning founded two political parties, and was the Leader of the Opposition from 1997 to 2000. He retired from Parliament in 2002. Currently, Manning is the President and CEO of the Manning Centre for Building Democracy, which he founded in 2005.
