Marriage has been in decline in North America for decades. In his new book, renowned sociologist Brad Wilcox argues that people who marry and have children enjoy more stable relationships and enjoy greater happiness and more economic security.
Wilcox examines the characteristics of people who are defying our ambivalent marriage culture to build strong marriages. The heart of his message is that marriage is a fundamental social institution that matters now more than ever.
Brad Wilcox is the leading voice on marriage and family in North America, whose deep research partnered with an accessible tone ensures that the importance of these institutions cannot be ignored. His book is scholarly and yet readable, accessible to parents, policy makers and academics alike. Join us to learn more from Brad about why now is the time to advance our understanding of the need for marriage!
