Paul Robinson is an Anglican priest and a doctoral student in historical and systematic theology at McMaster Divinity College. Paul’s theological interests vary widely, but his current research is focused on the theology of beauty and the capacity of poetry to represent and communicate divine meaning. He is particularly interested in the poet-theologians of the early Syriac tradition, notably St. Ephrem the Syrian and St. Jacob of Serugh. Paul previously served as a university minister and Christian Study Centre director at the University of British Columbia. He and his wife Kristin live in Hamilton, Ontario with their three young children. He writes occasionally at betweenaweandlove.substack.com.
