LYMAN STONE is a Cardus senior fellow and a demographer specializing in fertility and family. He is also the director of research for the demographic consulting firm Demographic Intelligence and a PhD candidate in sociology at McGill University. He, his wife, and their three daughters live in Montreal, Quebec.
