Catharine Kavanagh is the Alberta Liaison Officer, working from Calgary. She holds an Honours B.A. in Political Science from the University of Calgary, and previously worked in policy development and analysis, primarily in the areas of agriculture, family & social policy, and Canadian heritage. Catharine has also worked in multicultural outreach and on numerous other grassroots initiatives.

Catharine hiked 15 mountains last summer and hopes to beat that number in future years. Other pursuits in her free time include roasting marshmallows over a fire, planning future travels, and reading anything to do with foreign policy and history.
