Ephraim Barrera is a research intern at Cardus. He is completing a B.A. (Hons) in Public Ethics and Philosophy at Saint Paul University and holds a certificate in Liberal Arts from Augustine College in Ottawa. Currently, his research interests focus on virtue ethics, political liberalism, and emerging technology.
Ephraim has over 5 years of experience as a youth and young adult ministry coordinator. He has often spoken in churches and local venues on topics surrounding education and human flourishing. Ephraim is also the founder of a student philosophy group at Saint Paul University, in which he delivers regular presentations on ethics, political thought, and contemporary social issues.
Ephraim enjoys participating in engaging discussions, playing beach volleyball, and relaxing at social gatherings with friends and family.
