Taylor was born in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia before moving to West Africa where his parents were working as missionaries. At the age of 12 his family moved back to Canada to continue life here. Throughout high school he was involved in several missions trips and played volleyball and tennis.
His childhood growing up abroad sparked an international interest which inspired him to receive his undergraduate degree in International Relations with a specialization in Global Policy from Trinity Western University. During his degree he developed a strong love for language and cultures, most notably Spanish and Latin America. This interest provoked him to spend this last year teaching English in a public high school in Madrid, Spain. He’s grateful to have had the opportunity to travel and live abroad this past year, and has gathered many crazy stories along the way.
Now having returned to Canada, Taylor is excited to explore more of the world of public policy and is looking forward to joining the awesome team at Cardus!
