“Antisemitism is a foundational brokenness in the Christian tradition. That’s why it requires our special attention," says Michael Van Pelt.

Two things are clear: that parents are unsatisfied with the public school system and are willing to pay out of pocket if it means more choice around how their child is educated.

"Why is the federal government butting into intra-familial relationships and why are parents passively accepting mediocre, one-size-fits-all programs?"

"Every sector [of independent schools] performed as well or better than their public school counterparts," says Joanna DeJong VanHof.

"The fact that [euthanasia] is part of the healthcare system...creates this idea of normalization," says Rebecca Vachon, program director for Health at Cardus.

"It is not at all clear that objecting employees at private hospitals or clinics that allow [physician-assisted suicide]...are protected from being punished by their employers."

“Anti-Semitism is not a Jewish problem," says Rev. Dr. Andrew Bennett. "Anti-Semitism is a problem for Christians and for our fellow non-Jewish citizens."

"If France can adjust itself to a permanent slow simmer of antisemitism, occasionally exploding to a boil, will Canada do the same?" writes Fr. Raymond de Souza.

"A 2023 study by the think-tank Cardus...found that nearly half of Canadian women at the end of their reproductive years had fewer children than they had wanted."
