Why does your Christian school matter, not just for your own children, but for the good of our society? How important is “fit” between student and school; what difference does it make? And, given intensified opposition, how do we winsomely make the case for parents’ right to school choice, in a way that resonates with our neighbours?

Come hear the latest research from Cardus Education’s David Hunt and Catharine Kavanagh, followed by Q&A. Parents will leave with a new appreciation for the long-term impact their school has (and will have!). Educators will feel encouraged. And, hopefully, all of us will gain fresh insights and inspiration.

About Cardus Education

Cardus Education exists to cultivate education for the common good and convene education leaders, through original research and policy studies on educational pluralism, excellence in education, and graduate outcomes.

Researchers, educators, and leaders around the world use our research, primarily through the Cardus Education Survey (CES)—the largest reliable and representative non-government sample of high school graduate outcomes in North America and Australia. Prior to its launch in 2010, there was very little quantitative measurement to prove or disprove claims made about the outcomes of independent schools.

Since then, we have covered a lot of ground through new research and fresh perspectives. Whether in the media, at international or local conferences, or in meetings with education leaders and policy-makers, our work is making a difference.
