A century ago, the battle of Vimy Ridge was a defining moment in Canadian history.

For the first time, all four divisions of the Canadian Corps fought together, quickly taking the seven kilometre ridge from the enemy. Through careful planning, strong leadership, and incredible bravery, the soldiers came out victorious. They won more than just the battlefield. Brigadier-General A.E. Ross declared, “In those few minutes I witnessed the birth of a nation”.

General Sir Arthur Currie is reenacted by John Pellowe, CEO of the CCCC, Canada’s largest association of charities in Canada. His own family history is deeply tied to Vimy Ridge. He will share an incredible story of Canadian history and lessons for today’s leaders.

The event will include refreshments and presentation.
