Description
On behalf of Cardus, the Progressive Contractors Association (PCA), and the Christian Labour Association of Canada (CLAC), we invite you to join us to discuss community benefits agreements (CBAs) and how governments can improve and implement them in British Columbia municipalities.
BC’s municipalities have an opportunity to gain the benefits that CBAs offer while avoiding the pitfalls faced by the BC government.
This lunch will feature a panel discussion on how governments can implement CBAs in a way that is fair and transparent.
Our panel will consist of:
- Fiona Famulak, president of the BC Chamber of Commerce
- Jon Coleman, member of the Cowichan First Nation and owner of Jon-Co Contracting
- Dylan Kruger, councillor for the City of Delta
- Albert Flootman, Principal, Localis – Planning & Local Government Services
- Renze Nauta, Program Director, Work & Economics
