Senior Fellow, Family

Andrea Mrozek is Senior Fellow, Family Program, at Cardus.

Andrea’s career has spanned journalism and think tanks in Europe and Canada. Immediately prior to joining Cardus, she was Executive Director of the Institute of Marriage and Family Canada. Her opinion pieces have appeared in newspapers across Canada, and she is a frequent guest on TV and radio shows. Born in Toronto, Andrea has an MA in history from the University of Toronto.

Andrea is co-author of the book “I . . . Do? Why Marriage Still Matters” (Cascade Books, 2024) and continues to research, write, and speak about marriage, child care, and women’s issues. She lives in Ottawa with her husband and daughter, whose entry on the scene later in Andrea’s life has, compared to any prior research, taught her immeasurably more about family and work.
