For 6 years, she was the Book Lady of Ottawa’s Catholic community, managing St. Patrick Basilica’s Gift Shop and Bookstore. She believes a spirit of service, rustic hospitality, propriety, and loyalty are the cornerstones to building community. Having grown up in a small farming town in southern Ontario, she understands the value of hard work as well as a day of rest.

She is a bibliophile at heart with a penchant for the classics and high respect for ancient cultures. She is very devoted to her large family and can be particular about her tea. She can frequently be seen curled up with a book, singing in her parish choir, or watching the latest Star Wars show. If not there, you can find her swimming, playing video games, or having discussions with her roommates about temperaments, spirituality, and how to solve the world’s problems.
