Monica Rawlek Elizondo is the External Affairs Administrator. Monica is a dual citizen of Mexico and Canada born and raised in Williams Lake, BC. Monica’s passions are diverse; from Philosophy to cooking, Human Rights to vinyl records, and everything in between.
Obtaining a BA (Honours) in Philosophy, focusing on Human Rights, she has had a range of experiences leading up to her time at Cardus including serving as a Peace Ambassador for Humanitarian Affairs Asia, a Research Assistant for the International Journal for Religious Freedoms, working with a Member of Parliament, and most recently working as a Marketing Coordinator at Quest University.
When not working, writing, or philosophizing, Monica enjoys cooking extravagant meals for friends, biking, and savouring the ‘in-between’ moments of life.
