Susan Wise Bauer is the author of The Story of Western Science: From the Writings of Aristotle to the Big Bang Theory.
She is also the author of the History of the World series for W. W. Norton, and the best-selling Story of the World history series for children. She has a PhD from the College of William and Mary, lives on a farm in Charles City, Virginia, and raises Leicester longwool sheep for entertainment.
