CLAC Executive Director

Wayne began working for CLAC in 2003 after first joining the union as an operator working in the Northwest Territories. In 2004 Wayne moved to Fort McMurray, Alberta to open a new CLAC office to service the union’s rapidly growth in the region. He would spend the next 12 years in Fort McMurray before moving to Edmonton in 2016 where he currently serves as the Executive Director for CLAC. CLAC represents over 60000 members in Canada working in a wide variety of sectors and industries. Wayne is passionate about advancing the rights and interests of workers within vibrant, positive, and safe workplaces and communities. Wayne completed a BA in Environmental Studies at The King’s University and an MBA from Queen’s University.
