Jonathan Eckert, EdD, is the Lynda and Robert Copple Professor of Educational Leadership at Baylor University. Prior to Baylor, he was at Wheaton College and taught outside of Chicago and Nashville for twelve years.
He served at the US Department of Education in both the Bush and Obama administrations, on teaching quality issues. He has won numerous teaching awards and is the author of Just Teaching, Leading Together, The Novice Advantage, and many articles, and is coauthor of Future Ready: Innovative Missions and Models in Christian Education.
