Senior Fellow, Family
Lyman Stone is a demographer specializing in fertility and family. His work explores the connections between social values and attitudes, economic systems, and family formation. He is also the Director of Research at the consulting firm Demographic Intelligence, a Research Fellow at the Institute for Family Studies, and Adjunct Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a Robert Novak Journalism fellow, and a PhD student in sociology at McGill University. He previously worked as a market forecaster for the U.S. Foreign Agricultural Service in Washington, DC, and as an economist at the Tax Foundation, a nonpartisan think tank. He and his family moved to Montreal in 2020, after spending two years living in Hong Kong.
